The City of Nelson Highland Pipe Band was formed in 1924 to promote and foster the learning of Bagpipes & Drums and to maintain a fully functional pipe band for the City of Nelson.

We carry out ceremonial duties for the City of Nelson (ANZAC etc.) and perform regular concerts.

We are a teaching band and we also compete in RNZPBA Competitions to further improve our skill. We are a family band catering to all ages and abilities.
